Radiotherapy
Radiotherapy is one of the main treatment methods for cancer. Its task is to damage cancer cells with ionizing radiation. So far, the patients of our branch in Włocławek had to travel almost 100 kilometres to be able to use from this treatment technique in Bydgoszcz. However, everything has now changed, because on November 7, 2016, the newly built Radiotherapy Department in Włocławek, located at Łęgska Street number 53, started its operation. It was built just 300 meters from the Diagnostic and Treatment Centre. About 700-900 patients will be irradiated annually at the Radiotherapy Department in Włocławek.
