The patients have access to free parking lots located at the entrance to the main building, Polyclinic and the Active Rehabilitation and Sports Park.

A guarded car park is located at the entrance to the Admission Room. The first 45 minutes are free. After this time, a fee is charged. The cost of one hour is PLN 5.


Hotel

“POZYTON” Hotel, located near the Oncology Centre, was created with patients and their families in mind. It has 29 single rooms and 27 double rooms. Some rooms are adapted to the needs of disabled persons.

The hotel day starts at 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and ends at 12:00 a.m. on the next day. The hotel Reception Desk is open 24/7.

On level -1 of the Hotel, there is a restaurant, open from 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. There are two dining rooms in the restaurant: restaurant and bar. In the morning, breakfast is served, then lunch, and in the afternoon you can check out the à la carte offer, or organize a modest social event.

A guarded car park is available for hotel guests, and additionally, for the comfort of their stay, a monitoring system providing security has been installed in the hotel and its surroundings.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Act on healthcare services financed from public funds, when the general condition of the patient during the treatment process does not require 24-hour medical care, the hospital may, at the patient’s request, accommodate him in a hotel. Patients of the Oncology Centre with a referral from the attending physician, for the duration of treatment, are provided with free accommodation with breakfast and dinner at the “POZYTON” Hotel. This applies to the patients of the Department of Radiotherapy and the Department of Brachytherapy. In addition, patients of the Department of Nuclear Medicine from outside the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship are provided with free accommodation at “POZYTON” Hotel one day before the examination.

The Oncology Centre cooperates with other hotels in Bydgoszcz and Włocławek, which provide accommodation services for patients. In these hotels, we care about the highest standard, providing patients with free accommodation with breakfast and dinner, as well as transport for the duration of the medical procedure from the hotel to the Oncology Centre and back.

Mini shopping arcade

A mini shopping arcade is located in the main entrance to the hospital, in here patients may purchase some essential items. There is a buffet on Level – 1.

“PATIO” BUFFET

The “Patio” Buffet is located on the lower ground floor. Open: daily from 7.30 a.m. to 2 p.m.


FREE OF CHARGE: TV and Wi-Fi

The Oncology Centre has single and triple patient rooms, each with a separate bathroom, free TV and Wi-Fi. A mini shopping arcade is located at the entrance to the hospital where patients may purchase essential items.


Smoking on the hospital grounds

We kindly remind you that smoking of cigarettes and tobacco products is completely forbidden in the Oncology Centre in Bydgoszcz complex. The Act on health protection against the consequences of using tobacco and tobacco products specifies that smoking is forbidden “on the premises of healthcare facilities and in other facilities where medical services are provided”. The prohibition applies to patients, staff and visitors, both inside the buildings and in their vicinity.


Pastoral care

Each patient may inform the medical staff about their wish to speak with the chaplain. This visit will be arranged individually.

The Oncology Centre Chapel is located on the 1st floor in the Spiritual Support Team. It is open daily from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

The order of the Holy Mass:

  • Mass in the chapel is celebrated from Tuesday to Friday at 2.30 p.m.
  • On Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, services are held at 11.00 a.m.

Storage of the corpse

The family of the deceased does not bear any fees for storing the remains for up to 72 hours after the patient’s death. After 72 hours, a fee is charged to the family in accordance with the applicable price list of the funeral home.

The time limit for considering a complaint / request is 10 working days.

The Director of the Oncology Centre receives applicants in matters of complaints and requests every Thursday from 1.00 p.m. – 2.00 p.m. by previous appointment (tel. 52 374 32 00).

The Director’s Plenipotentiary for Patients’ Rights may be approached in matters concerning complaints and requests every Tuesday and Thursday between 8 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. and on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. To arrange a meeting, please call 52/374-34-69.
