Prof. dr hab. n. med. Janusz Kowalewski is a specialist in the field of general surgery and thoracic surgery. From 2000. works at the Oncology Center in Bydgoszcz as the Coordinator of the Department of Thoracic Surgery and Tumors. In 2008, the President of the Republic of Poland awarded him the title of professor of medical sciences, and on October 1, 2012, he was appointed full professor at the Department and Clinic of Thoracic Surgery and Cancer, Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. Author of 104 publications in the field of thoracic and cardiac surgery and oncology (IF: 137, citations 676). He belongs to the Society of Polish Surgeons, the Society of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons, the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons (ESTS) and the European Society of Heart and Thoracic Surgery (EACTS). From 2004 to 2007 he was a member of the Board of the Polish Society of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons.
He received the Team Award of the Minister of Science and Higher Education and the Medal of the President of the City of Bydgoszcz (for special services for the city of Bydgoszcz).

Krzysztof Kamecki, MD, PhD is a specialist in the field of urology and general surgery. A graduate of the Medical Academy in Bydgoszcz. He gained professional experience in renowned domestic and foreign centers. He obtained the highest result in the European specialization exam and received a specialist diploma in the field of urology and the title of Fellow of the European Board of Urology (UEMS, Arnhem, the Netherlands). Doctoral dissertation on the phenomenon of angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis in prostate cancer under the supervision of prof. Roman Makarewicz defended at the Faculty of Medicine of the Collegium Medicum of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Bydgoszcz. He has been working at the Cancer Center since 2006, currently as the Coordinator of the Clinical Department of Oncological Urology and Medical Director.

Edyta Szortyka graduated from the Faculty of Nursing at the Medical University of Bydgoszcz and postgraduate studies in Organization and Management in Health Care at the University of Management and Finance in Bydgoszcz. A specialist in the field of surgical nursing. She has been associated with the Oncology Center in Bydgoszcz since 2003. For 16 years she was the Head of Medical Care at the Clinical Oncological Urology Department. As the Director of Nursing at the Oncology Center, she is responsible for nursing services provided to outpatients and stationary patients at the Center. Promoter of nursing development at the Oncology Center, based on the latest standards of nursing care quality. He is also responsible for the activities of the Central Sterilization Department and the Social Worker.

Mirosław Stawicki has been employed at the Cancer Center since 2011. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Poznań University of Technology. For 10 years he worked as the Manager of the Technical Department of the Center in the Logistics Division. From August 2021, he is the Logistics Director. Supervises infrastructure and its development. He manages and coordinates the overall logistics activities. He is responsible for supervising investments, renovations, proper functioning of medical apparatus and equipment, supplying utilities, maintaining cleanliness in the facilities and surroundings of the Center and its property. He supervises the activities of the Hotel POZYTON and the Medical Waste Disposal Plant.

Katarzyna Klawińska-Knach has been associated with the Oncology Center since 2005. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and postgraduate studies in banking and management in health care. For many years, she supervised the activities of the Management and IT Department, under which she was responsible for the implementation of IT systems, the process of telephone registration of Call Center patients as well as organizational and promotional issues. She also acted as the Plenipotentiary of the Integrated Management System. From 2019. Organizational and Development Director supervising activities in the field of employee matters, management and computerization, public procurement and contracting services, as well as medical documentation and statistics. Her duties also include supervision over the work of the Active Rehabilitation and Sports Park.

The Economic Director is responsible for creating the financial policy of the Oncology Center and supervising all activities in this area, with particular emphasis on maintaining the financial liquidity of the hospital. Despite unfavorable market conditions, it tries to ensure that all contractors and clients can always evaluate the Oncology Center as a solid and reliable partner. He pays great attention to acquiring external sources of financing for investments carried out in the center, which are necessary for the entity to maintain its market position, raise the standard of medical services and ensure patient safety.
